Hao Zhang is a PhD candidate in Prof. Jun Xiao’s research group at the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The main research interest of Hao is dissecting the epigenetic mechanisms regulating nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) in wheat. Besides, he is also interested in sequencing technologies for decoding epigenome in plant. He participates in genome sequencing and understanding the genetic basis for NUE of KN9204, which is recently published in Molecular Plant (Shi et al., 2022).
