Dr. Zaheer Ahmed is working as Associate Professor at the Center for Advanced Studies in Agriculture and Food Security (CAS-AFS) and Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. He is Incharge of Soybean Lab. His research interests are understanding the complex genetic mechanisms in plants for improved performance in various stresses and nutrient accumulation. He is working on dissecting key pathways in plants and making targeted alterations using CRISPR-Cas technology.
