Georgia Eastham is an undergraduate student at
Oklahoma State University studying Plant Science and Biochemistry. Georgia is
active in the wheat research program studying antioxidant potential in purple
wheat working under Dr. Brett Carver and Dr. Edralin Lucas. She is passionate
about the impacts of research and intends to pursue a PhD in plant physiology
or genetics. Georgia has presented her project at several national and regional
events. Georgia earned a spot at Montana State University’s NSF-REU program for
the summer in chemical biology. She is active member of the American Chemical
Society and American Society of Agronomy.
